The bio data type now support several improvements for modern, 21st century resumes:

  • A Logo type, composed of:

    • a required label

    • a required imageUrl

    • an optional link URL

→ This type is useful to render a company logo on your resume.

  • a subItems element, which is a list of regular items

→ This allows you to nest items in items in items … you got it. Particularly useful for consulting professionals working on several missions for the same company.

  • a collapsible flag, to allow expanding/collapsing an item

  • a collapsed flag, to define an item’s default state when rendering your resume

  • a ruler flag, to draw an horizontal ruler after an item content

Let’s see an example:

bio.yml

- title: Mega-corporations
  items:
    - logo:
        link: https://abc.xyz/

Color Themes

The resume theme comes with 5 pre-configured color schemes that you can easily switch between. Each theme provides carefully selected colors that work well in both light and dark modes (Purple, Blue, Emerald, Amber, Rose and Cyan).

How to Apply a Theme

To use an alternate theme, create a stylesheet file in your project’s web/style.css directory and import the theme:

/* Available: _theme-blue.css, _theme-emerald.css, _theme-amber.css, _theme-rose.css, _theme-cyan.css */
@import "./_theme-blue.css";

Custom Theme Colors

You can also create your own custom color scheme by overriding the theme variables in your style.css (See example)

The theme uses Tailwind CSS v4 color palettes. Available colors include: slate, gray, zinc, neutral, stone, red, orange, amber, yellow, lime, green, emerald, teal, cyan, sky, blue, indigo, violet, purple, fuchsia, pink, and rose.
